There's tons of apps available (many free) and for online or offline use. Everyone is catching on to the app thing, so there's new ones every day.
I travel a lot so this works great for me. I can keep it on me easier than a laptop and access the internet anywhere I have WiFi. Plus several of the apps I use keep me from having to lug other things around with me that the apps can replace (atleast for travelling).
My three old plays with the kids apps on it and has dropped it several times with no damage. It's very durable.
I would highly recommend using a shell and screen protector however. If nothing else, it'll keep it in top shape.
My husband has the 4th generation with camera. Eventually I'll move up to one of those!

Excellent product. Quite expensive, but the warranty is very good. We bought a refurbished item and on the second use the display went white and we were unable to restore it. The seller offered a full refund, but we contacted an Apple service instead and they told us the device was still under producer warranty, so we sent it to them and they gave us a brand new device.

This was a present for my son. He was really amazed by the quality of the display and the speed of the processor. He had a older model that went fut., and comparing both there was a enormous difference in favor of the new one.

First off i would like to say that i love my ipod touch 4g 64 gig device! There is not much that i dont like about it, i use mine everyday. But what i dont like is that there is no FM radio, the camera dosent have great quality, and there is no flash for the camera. If they could at least put a FM radio into it and mabye a couple megapixel better camera (front and back) i would love it even more. i know its not an iphone so i can live with out the flash for the camera but those other things would make everyone happier! But like i said i think the 4g touch is AMAZING as it is besides the 2 or 3 things it dosent have. But now that i think about it another thing i dont like is how the metal on the back scratch's so easy i think the ipods look better with out cases on them so i only use a case when i first get it and then get tired of it and take it off... But theres my review!
I really enjoy my I-Pod Touch. Hopefully, someday, I can invest in an I-Pad, but the I-Pod Touch suits me fine for now for what I do with it. I was able to purchase it through Amazon for a good price too, and the ordering and delivery went well. I use Amazon quite often for my purchases. A great place !!!!

This is the best iPod i could ever ask for! It is fast and thin. One thing i really like about it is that it's screen is very bright and not dull. And the cameras are very good. You can facetime people and that's also a cool feature and the speakers are real high quality. I really recommend this even though it's kinda pricy.
